About USD Coin (USDC)

USDC is a dollar stablecoin issued by Circle and redeemable one to one for US dollars. It is common on Ethereum and its layer-2 networks, and on Solana. Arbitrum One is an Ethereum layer-2: Ethereum security with much lower fees.

Like USDT, a USDC payment keeps its dollar value from checkout to your balance. Many businesses prefer to hold USDC, so you can also convert incoming coins to it automatically.

How a USDC on Arbitrum payment works

  1. 1
You create an order in USD

From your store plugin, a payment link or one API call.

  2. 2
    The USDC amount is locked

Converted at the live price once, when the order is created. It never changes afterwards.

  3. 3
The customer pays a fresh address

A deposit address made for this order only, with a QR code on Arbitrum.

  4. 4
    You get a signed webhook

When the payment is credited (after 40 confirmations), your balance goes up and your system is told.

Questions about USDC on Arbitrum

More in the help center.

How fast is a USDC on Arbitrum payment confirmed?

Stablora credits it after 40 confirmations on Arbitrum. The checkout page shows the progress live, and you receive a signed payment.completed webhook the moment it is credited.

What does it cost to accept USDC on Arbitrum?

0.5% of each payment, with no monthly or setup fee. Withdrawing to your own wallet costs a 0.5% commission plus a flat network fee (0.1 USDC on Arbitrum).

What if the customer sends too little or too much?

If less arrives, the checkout asks for the rest before the order expires (you can accept small shortfalls with a tolerance in Settings). Anything above the amount due is recorded as an overpayment that you can refund.

What if the customer uses the wrong network or coin?

The checkout shows the coin and network right next to the address. Coins sent on another network or in another coin are not credited automatically — for this page that means only USDC on Arbitrum.

Do I carry price risk with USDC?

USDC tracks the US dollar, so the dollar amount you invoiced is what lands in your balance, minus the fee. You can hold it or withdraw it to any wallet.
