About Ethereum (ETH)

Ether is the native coin of Ethereum and is also used on its layer-2 networks — Arbitrum, Optimism and Base — where the same payment costs a fraction of the gas.

Let customers pay on the network their wallet already uses. Ether received on an EVM network can be converted to USDT or USDC automatically if you prefer stable balances.

How a ETH payment works

  1. 1
You create an order in USD

From your store plugin, a payment link or one API call.

  2. 2
    The ETH amount is locked

Converted at the live price once, when the order is created. It never changes afterwards.

  3. 3
The customer pays a fresh address

A deposit address made for this order only, with a QR code.

  4. 4
    You get a signed webhook

When the payment is credited, your balance goes up and your system is told.

Questions about ETH

More in the help center.

How fast is a ETH payment confirmed?

It depends on the network: Ethereum 12 confirmations, Base 20 confirmations, Arbitrum 40 confirmations, Optimism 20 confirmations. The checkout shows the progress live and you receive a signed webhook when it is credited.

What does it cost to accept ETH?

0.5% of each payment, with no monthly or setup fee. Withdrawing to your own wallet costs a 0.5% commission plus a flat network fee per network (see pricing).

What if the customer sends too little or too much?

If less arrives, the checkout asks for the rest before the order expires (you can accept small shortfalls with a tolerance in Settings). Anything above the amount due is recorded as an overpayment that you can refund.

What if the customer uses the wrong network or coin?

The checkout shows the coin and network right next to the address. Coins sent on another network or in another coin are not credited automatically.

Can I receive ETH but keep dollars?

Yes. Turn on auto-conversion and incoming ETH is swapped to USDT or USDC on-chain (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism) for 0.25% on top of the exchange cost.
